Wasteland
started as an album about a “desert experience” Kayla had battling health issues. The writing process began in the spring of 2018 and “concluded in January 2020. Then the rest of 2020 happened. As various world events unfolded, it became clear that this album and songs were bigger than any personal struggles and even herself.
